Induction Process
Hall of Fame Induction Criteria
Induction Order
I) Two active inductees per year  minimum        

To refer someone to be inducted
Write out a complete resume of accomplishments and send to     Water Ferguson                                                                             140 Stoneybrook Dr.
   Eden, N.C. 27288                         
I) 40 years of age or older the year of induction (exceptions possible at 35 yr. for outstanding contributions)
II) Major contribution to the sport of weightlifting/powerlifting  for 10 years or more as one of the following:
A.  Competitive lifter 5 years at the top
B.Official,coach,promoter,meet assistant.
III) Consistant performance in  Olympic or powerlifting on a state wide level for a   10 year duration.
IV Helped make weightlifting and powerlifting a better sport through prolonged efforts
V. Special consideration will be given to those unable to compete in all lifts due to physical problems or with health problems.
VI. Participation in major or credible lifting organizations is only recognized. After 2000 only drug tested major organizations recognized.

Induction Commitee requirements:
         Induction committee members are required to attend a minimum of at least 3 meets per year and be currently active in the sport as either athlete, promoter, official, or coach.  Past involvement shall include 20 years active participation including at least 2 meets per year of the last five and have involvement in more than one organization.
