Jack King was an Olympic lifter during the 1960's and early 1970's and was widely known in the sport. During the 1960's and 1970's he held many Olympic meets here in N.C. He later opened a gym in Winston-Salem where many Olympic lifters, Powerlifters and bodybuilders train.
