Arnold Arrington

Master Lifter: 625 Squat at over 60 yrs

   When the name Arnold is mentioned, most people think  "Schwartzenegger", but in North Carolina , when people talk of Arnold , it is about Arnold Arrington, the master powerlifter. Arnold was the first N.C. master (and only ) to squat over 600 lbs . He has won numerous state, National, and World titles. On aug 18, 2001  Arnold squatted 625, benched 340, and deadlifted 545, feats of strength much younger lifters could not do!
